The mountain has a superb mix of terrain for skiers and boarders, from mellow for beginners all the way through to hectic for experts and thrill seekers. The Ski & Snowboard School is Victoria’s largest, with over 300 friendly and professional instructors from across the globe joining us each season and sharing their passion for skiing and boarding with our guests.

You won’t recognise our new look village when you visit this winter, with a dramatic redevelopment of the old Kooroora complex. A stylish new Kooroora food and beverage venue and a fresh new retail/rental hub replaces the old Kooroora building from yesteryear. Before Your Arrival

It is important students and teachers are prepared for the changing weather conditions that are common in an alpine environment.
You may also like to download the Mt Buller Live APP to your phone which is a handy resource for trail maps, live webcams, lift status and even emergency numbers.
We recommend your group bring the following items that are key to staying warm and dry.
- Sunscreen, and eye-wear (sunglasses or snow goggles)
- Water resistant gloves, pants and jacket
- Shoes or boots adequate for walking in the snow
- Thermals, hats and beanies

Allow Plenty Of Time For Your Trip
The trip up to Mt Buller can take longer than expected due to traffic or weather, please allow extra time as the road conditions can vary depending on conditions. For example if there is heavy snow on the road it can add an extra 30-45 minutes (or more!) to the drive to the village.
To make the start of your visit less stressful we recommend allowing plenty of time for rental collection and arrival on the first day – it usually takes longer than you think to get everyone fitted and organised so booking a later lesson time is a good idea.
